Thai Yoga Massage |
Through yoga children increase muscle strength, flexibility, balance, boost confidence, and improve concentration. Yoga is actively engaging and a fun way for children to learn about their bodies. An emphasis will be given to the therapeutic benefits of yoga methods and techniques appropriate for all developmental levels and all ages (birth to adult).
Pediatric Massage is an interactive flow and technique which enhances the care-giver and child relationship; increases parental confidence; deepens respiration; improves circulation and elimination; and promotes a quiet-alert state in the infant. This course will discuss neurological and behavioral conditions and provides appropriate modifications through massage technique, positioning, and environment.
At the end of this workshop participants will be able to use yoga and massage techniques to enhance wellness with children.
